When Travelwise decided they wanted to sponsor a goalkeeper this year we're sure they would not have expected Brian O Neil to step into the breach, but that's exactly what the canny Scot did when team mate Andy Lonergan was sent south to Wycombe for some much needed match practice.

Brian, together with Collette Fleming from sponsors Travelwise, made the short trip to Walton-le- Dale High School to hand out tickets to pupils who have excelled in all subjects, including French, since the start of term.

Brian obliged with the usual requests for autographs and photos before proving as unbeatable as Lonners in a quite gruelling question and answer session.

It was left to Brian to pass on Andy's best wishes before presenting both sponsor and school with a set of the keepers actual match shirts in recognition of their support.

Travelwise will now be looking forward to the second player sponsorship visit later in the year when they are on the road with Lewis Neal.

Brian, Andy and the club would like to extend their thanks and best wishes to all the pupils and teachers at Walton le Dale High school for their hospitality and to Collette Fleming and all at Travelwise for the continued support and sponsorship.
