Preston North End keeper, Carlo Nash, was on hand last week to deliver tickets as part of his player sponsorship. Carlo, who is sponsored by Tarleton Property, took time out to visit the pupils of Clayton Brook Primary School to 'hand' over tickets for the Crystal Palace league game.

Carlo arrived with his sponsor, Russell Hoyles, from Tarleton Property and was made to feel welcome immediately. As the children gathered in the hall, Russell explained the reason why he had donated the tickets to Clayton Brook Primary School.

Last season Tarleton Property had sponsored a ticket initiative. Clayton Brook Primary was one of the luck schools to benefit from Tarleton Property's generous sponsorship. Following on from the game, Russell received many letters of thanks from the pupils and was so touched that he offered them the tickets he receives as part of his player sponsorship package to the school.

Carlo and Russell stood at the front of the hall as Carlo answered questions asked by the pupils. He revealed that his aim for the rest of the season was to keep ten more clean sheets and that he was only signed as a professional when he was 23- years-old.

As the question and answer session neared the end there was a surprise as Sky Sports arrived at the school to film piece on Carlo. They also filmed him visiting a classroom and answering some questions from the pupils.

Before he departed Carlo signed an autograph for very pupil in the school. He also handed his actual match worn shirts over to Russell who in turn handed one back to the school on the proviso that the pupils all support PNE. They all enthusiastically agreed.

Many thanks to Steve Murfitt and the pupils at Clayton Brook Primary School for their warm welcome, Russell Hoyles and Tarleton Property for their continued support and Carlo Nash for taking the time out to visit the school.
