Preston North End have announced an enticing ticket deal for the last two home games of this rollercoaster season.

Chairman Derek Shaw has revealed that PNE will offer a special reduced price ticket for the Ipswich Town game if supporters also purchase a Barnsley ticket in the same transaction.

Speaking about the deal, the Lilywhites' chief said:

"We have had marvellous support over the past few months which has greatly assisted Alan and the team as they have worked hard to get us away from the bottom end of the table.

"Supporting a team can be a costly affair if you come every week and we hope that this offer gives something back into the pockets of those who pay game-by-game and cannot afford to save the bigger amounts by purchasing a season ticket all in one go. Season ticket holders will get their rewards with some great savings when our 2008/09 prices are announced shortly."

Prices for this end-of-season special will be structured so that in effect a fan buys one ticket and gets the second roughly half price, so for both games on the Alan Kelly Town End or Bill Shankly Kop an adult will pay a total of £30 when buying both tickets instead of the normal £40 and in the Premium area the price will be £40 for both games instead of £54 (although there are no concessions in the Premium area as per normal).

Tickets are available now to supporters purchasing over the phone on 0870 442 1966 or in person at the ticket office. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this discount online.

The small number of fans who have already purchased tickets for both games can contact the ticket office for a refund on the difference, however, any tickets sold from Friday 28th March will not be eligible for a refund on either ticket once purchased. Please note that this deal is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

The pricing structure will be as follows and only applies in advance before the Barnsley game (12th April) when both tickets are purchased together.
