Wilson Departs
Preston North End defender Kelvin Wilson has joined Nottingham Forest after the player agreed terms on a move in the region of £300k.
The Preston board accepted bids from both Forest and Doncaster Rovers on Friday and the self-confessed Nottingham Forest fan travelled to the City Ground over the weekend, agreed personal terms and passed a medical to complete the move.
The 22-year-old linked up with North End towards the end of the 2005/06 season when Billy Davies signed him from Notts County but the Nottingham born defender failed to break the Sean St. Ledger - Liam Chilvers partnership last season and was limited to just 19 starts in his time at Deepdale.
