Can you pick yourself out in this photo of a PNE victory parade?

Sadly, we believe the chances of many people spotting themselves are slim, as it was taken in the aftermath of our 1938 FA Cup Final victory over Huddersfield, but if by some coincidence you recognise a face or two, we'd like to hear from you.

Four Four Two magazine is currently trying to locate PNE supporters or officials who can remember the big day, which was notable as being the first football match to be covered in full on British television. The monthly football publication is planning a commemorative feature to mark the 70th anniversary of this notable landmark in the development of the game.

PNE fans pack the streets outside the Town Hall

As all the playing staff from that day have now passed away, we're looking to hear from anyone who recalls the event - particularly if you saw the game in person at Wembley or possibly crowded round a crackly TV screen to watch the action as your heroes took to the hallowed turf hundreds of miles away.

We'll then put you in touch with Four Four Two magazine who'll be delighted to hear your thoughts and recollections from the momentous occasion.

If you've got any memories of note, please get in touch with the media department by contacting
media@pne.com or giving us a call on 0870 442 1964.
