Preston North End have announced that season tickets for the 2008/09 campaign will not go on sale until the end of the current season.

For the past three seasons the Club have introduced the 'Mad March' selling period for early bird sales, however, full details and pricing will not be announced until after the final League game of the season at the beginning of May.

Speaking after the announcement, Chairman Derek Shaw said: "We feel at the moment that everybody is focused on doing everything they can to maintain Championship status and we want to put our full time and effort into this before issuing ticketing details for next season.

"There are a lot of issues to consider, with the completion of the ground and the new facilities that the Invincibles Pavilion will bring and we want to make sure that all our supporters can get the best deal and find it easy to get into Deepdale.

"When the prices are announced we have already decided that our aim will be to simplify and restructure both matchday and season ticket pricing with the aim of affordable family football and ease of entry into what will be one of the best grounds in the country."
