The Robins blew the chance to extend their lead at the summit of the table in midweek but they have a second bite at the cherry when Plymouth visit Ashton Gate on Saturday. A psychological bonus for Gary Johnson is that his team cannot be removed from the top two whatever the outcome at other games in the division, so in that respect the pressure is off.

Colchester 7/4 Draw 23/10 Cardiff 6/4
Colchester, at present, look destined for the drop. They are ten points adrift at the foot of the table, offering little form and have a rather tough run-in. But Geraint Williams is a proud manager and will be demanding, until mathematically impossible, that his team show a lot of character and guts in the final nine fixtures. After losing to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, they simply need to register three points against the Bluebirds, which in turn would drag another team into the 12-club battle at the bottom of the table.

This is the first of two meetings between the sides in just over two weeks and the outcome of these games could prove pivotal come May 4^th. It isn't going to be a pretty encounter and a lot may depend on which team makes the most or biggest errors. Chris Coleman had drafted in Kasper Schmeichel and he'll be looking to impress on debut.

Crystal Palace 4/5 Draw 5/2 Barnsley 7/2
Barnsley showed no signs of a FA Cup hangover when they disposed of Ipswich on Tuesday. To score four goals too was an impressive feat but now they must take that form on the road and to Selhurst Park. Neil Warnock's team are unbeaten since beating Preston at Deepdale and have taken eight points from the last four outings.

This is the acid test for Alan Pardew. After suffering two defeats in the space of four days to Lancashire opposition, the Addicks now have to travel to the team with finest home record in the division. Pardew in public believes that the Play-Offs are his goal as an automatic spot is now ten points away, but if the Addicks are to even get in the end of season lottery then they have to find some form, and quick. He'll find his troops out of the top six for the first time in a long time come 5pm on Saturday.

Sheffield United 1/1 Draw 12/5 Norwich 11/4
When North End were defeated at Carrow Road at the start of February, Norwich were riding high on the crest of a wave and the word 'Play-Offs' were on the tips of supporters tongues. Now, they have been dragged back into the thick of it at the bottom and could well find themselves only a point or two above the bottom three come full time. This on paper might look like a dull, mundane mid-table turgid affair but with the league being so tight then both teams have plenty to play for, a stalemate beckons.

It's a top of the table clash but this might not be the place to spend your Saturday afternoon if free flowing open football is your taste. Both teams have enjoyed a large amount of success from their direct style but Stoke just offer that bit more in the final third.

West Brom 4/7 Draw 14/5 Leicester 19/4
Leicester are absolutely desperate for a win. They are struggling to score goals and slipped into the bottom three following their 1-0 away defeat to fellow strugglers Southampton. They need something to spark their end of season run-in and a point or three from their visit to the Hawthorns would represent that. However, Tony Mowbray's men have too much firepower with Ishmael Miller fresh from his hat-trick at Bristol Rovers and Kevin Phillips notching his 200^th career goal in midweek.
