Preston North End's Player of the Year Awards for 2008 sponsored by Traveline promises to be a glittering occasion once again and you can play your part in the evening by sending in your votes and nominations in four of the key categories.

Will Matt Hill relinquish his Player of the Year crown? All will be revealed on Wednesday 30th April and it will be your votes which ultimately decide who wins. There have been several outstanding candidates for the prize following PNE's battle away from the relegation places and you can send your vote to enquiries@pne.com.

Preston North End fans can also vote for their Goal of the Season by emailing enquiries@pne.com. There are several great goals this season, Darren Carter's at Leicester, Simon Whaley's at Burnley and Chris Brown's second at Charlton, but everyone will have their personal favourites and once again the choice is yours.

The Club are also looking for a Community Icon of the Year. The Preston North End players make hundreds of visits into the local community during the course of the season but we want to know if a particular player has made an impression with a club, society or school, which player has made that extra effort to to do his little bit in the local community? Finally, one of the most popular moments of the Player of the Year awards is the John Tracey Memorial Fan of the Year Award. Now in its fourth year this award goes to a Preston North End fan who stands out from the rest, someone who shows real dedication to the cause and epitomises what supporting Preston North End is all about. We're not looking for votes in this category but a nomination, please give us the name of your fan of the year and tell us why you think they are worthy of collecting this prestigious prize. The Preston North End judging panel will make the final decision in this category with the winner being presented with their award on the night, send your nomination to enquiries@pne.com.

The closing date for nominations for the Fan of the Year award is 5pm on Wednesday 23rd April, voting on all the other awards continues till 5pm on Tuesday 29th April.
