Everyone at Preston North End would like to convey their very best wishes to living legend Sir Tom Finney, as he celebrates his 86th birthday today, 5th April.

Sir Tom's 85th year was another one to remember, with the recent announcement of the first 'Sir Tom Finney Day' - to take place in Preston during March 2009 - giving the city's greatest son another occasion to look forward to at the end of his 86th.

Here's hoping that the current cast of PNE stars can make today a birthday to remember for Sir Tom by heading home from their trip to QPR with all three points safely wrapped up.
