Sean St Ledger will be hoping to play a part in this weekend's final league game away to Bristol City after making a successful return to training.

The defender was forced from the action at Plymouth ten days ago when he suffered a minor hamstring strain, and sat out Saturday's home draw with Ipswich as a result.

However, manager Alan Irvine has explained that his centre half is on the mend and could be challenging for a spot in the trip to Ashton Gate - though he'll be competing with a near fully-fit squad, with only the medium-to-long-term absentees such as Liam Chilvers, Wayne Henderson, Billy Jones and Kevin Nicholls currently ruled out of the equation.

"Ledge has trained again this week," he revealed. "We should have him back and available this weekend, so that's good news.

"Chris Brown has also trained again this week without any problems, and there are no new injuries from the weekend."
