Sean St. Ledger made it a double celebration as he picked up both the Official Player of the Year and the Players Player of the Year award for 2008.

The defender collected the Player of the Year sponsored by Traveline in front of a packed Great Room and then added to that award by picking up the Players' Player of the Year sponsored by Garstang Investments.

Goal of the Season sponsored by Paul Evans Limited was won by Darren Carter for his last minute stunner against Leicester City whilst Matt Hill won the Community Icon of the Year for his fantastic work away from the football field.

There was a special award made to North End supporter Joe Wallbank who picked up the Fan of the Year in memory of John Tracey.

The final award of evening was the Scholar of the Year award sponsored by Barbara and Nick Scholes and that went to Nathan Fairhurst.
