Preston North End have announced their first pre-season fixtures of the 2008/09 campaign with a double-header against Bamber Bridge and Chorley on Tuesday 15th July.

The games will be played simultaneously with a 7pm kick-off at both Irongate and Victory Park, Alan Irvine's squad being split between the two fixtures.

Both sides currently play in the Unibond Northern Premier League and are the first matches of what is sure to be a busy pre-season schedule for the Lilywhites. The Chorley match will see the two sides compete for the Jack Kirkland Trophy.
