Fans' Favourites Competition
The Club is currently selling bricks for phase five of the Sir Tom Finney Walk of Fame. Over these phases we're asking North End fans to tell us their 'fans favourites'. Supporters have so far nominated such players as Andy Saville, Sean Gregan, Brian Mooney and Mark Rankine but its not too late to put forward your favourite. We want supporters to nominate players, past or present that they think might not have received the recognition they deserved over the years. Players who, without making record appearances, were still appreciated by fans for their commitment or the character they brought to Deepdale.
Supporters can only put forward one player they believe should go down in the walk of fame as a fans' favourite. The fans favourites will go down over phases five and six. There are many players that seem to have won a place in all North End fans' hearts through the years and fans can nominate any player they wish from the Club's history regardless of appearances made and goals scored.
We'll pick a fan's name out of the hat from all those who have put forward their fans' favourite and they will be the lucky winner of a brick of their choice in phase five. All supporters need to do is email walkoffame@pne.com with the subject line 'fans favourite', including their player of choice and their own name and address in the email. The winning fan will be contacted in due course and informed of their win.
So email us your fans' favourite today and win yourself a place in Deepdale history next to your chosen player!
Closing date for entries is Friday September 7th.
