Following last week's FA Cup defeat to Newcastle WFC, North End Women returned to fine form on Sunday, seeing off Padiham 13-0 in the Lancashire Cup Quarter Final at Preston Sports Arena.

The Lilywhites started the rout as early as the sixth minute with Sam Cadwallader opening the scoring.

Hannah Bailey bagged a first half hat-trick with Alison Taberner also chipping in taking the score to 5-0 at the interval.

In was a merciless display by Simon Gerrard's team, as they failed to relent in the second half.

Cadwallader scored goals six and seven before midfielder Angela Willoughby made it 8-0.

Bailey then got her fourth whilst Cadwallader matched her tally taking PNE into double figures.

Martin, Willoughby and Bateman added further goals to complete the demolition of their East Lancashire opponents.

The Whites now progress to the Semi Final with Blackburn Rovers or Brazil Ladies lying in wait.
