Preston North End U18s will face Birmingham City in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup after the Blues beat Huddersfeld 2-1 on Wednesday evening to cement their spot in the last 32.

Goals in the last ten minutes by Jamie Sheldon and Jake Jervis completed a dramatic comeback for the visitors at the Galpharm Stadium after Spencer Harris had put the Terriers ahead in the first half from the penalty spot.

North End saw off the challenge of West Bromwich Albion with a 3-1 victory at Deepdale on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Matty Mainwaring, Nathan Fairhurst and Arran McCarthy.

A date and kick-off time for the fourth round tie has yet to be confirmed, although the match must be played by Saturday 19th January, 2008.

Bury are the visitors to Deepdale on Monday 17th December for the Lancashire FA Youth Cup first round clash. Kick-off is at 2pm with admission costing £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
