The youth team have suffered a further frustration following the news that Saturday's proposed trip to Port Vale in the Puma Youth Alliance League has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

It's been a stop-start year so far for Jamie Hoyland's under 18s, with heavy rain causing the postponement of several games in the first three months of 2008.

At present, there is no new date scheduled for the game to be played, but we'll bring you all the news as and when we have it via PNE.com and the official matchday programme.
